MENIFEE — One person died Saturday evening in a three-vehicle collision in Menifee that also injured two people.

The crash was reported at 6:15 p.m. in the 27000 block of Encanto Drive, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters used hydraulic tools to remove at least one person from a vehicle, fire officials said.

One person was confirmed dead at the scene, fire officials said. One seriously injured patient and one patient with minor injuries were taken by paramedics to a hospital.
